Clearly this has not been one of Amazon Prime's brightest ideas as unlike The Boys or American Gods, both of which not only had a varied cast but left their fans very happy, Rings of Power goes against the creation of J.R.R. Tolkien himself as the same people involved in the project have stated on more than one occasion. If there is one thing fans don't want is for the canon to be disrespected and clearly this seems to be the case with Rings of Power as can be seen in the reaction the community has had in rating and commenting on the trailers.
