Ixyku Utopia

Ixyku societies are real social utopias. All jobs are considered equal because every task they perform is for the benefit of their hive. This utopy is possible due to the fact that for them there is no personal desire, only collective welfare. For this very reason, when some of their labour is unnecessary, that Ixyku goes into suspended animation until it is required for a new labour and their body is used as food for the Sikebhe, however, there is only one job that is always necessary and that is carried out by the progenitors. This type of Ixyku is the one in charge of the development of new bodies or new/better technologies.

The Ixyku believe in the existence of a god called Ubab Kudala whose name means "The primal energy". Their position regarding their god is totally different to other races, since for them their god is part of the conscience they share as a collective and that is why they consider it unnecessary to own or worship any kind of cult.

If there is some kind of difference between two hives, a third one must act as a mediator to reach an answer that, rather than satisfying both parties, seeks the most logical or optimal solution. In the same way, when one of the other races that inhabit their world has a problem of this type, they usually contact the nearest Sikebhe to be the mediator that finds a solution to their dilemma in exchange for a fee, which can be raw materials to be used in their hive or, if they don’t have enough materials, they can offer members of the community to be used as a fuel. In the latter case the offerings die in peace, without pain or suffering, which over time has led to the sick or those who want to die, offering their bodies to the Ixyku to end their suffering.

The Ixyku have as their purpose the search for the ultimate evolution. It is for this that they possess one of the largest libraries with biological samples on the surface of Ukuvu. They are constantly experimenting, creating new life forms and adapting the improvements they find to their tools and vehicles as well as their silicon bodies.

They don’t interact with individuals outside their Sikebhe if they don’t need to but in case they need to contact someone or vice versa, they implant a symbiote which looks like a tattoo on their skin and whose function is to work as a communication and tracking device.
