In the Ux-Uhl society the highest authority is the Ugnamatar and below him are the High Caste and the Low Caste. The first is made up of the members of the Church, the armed forces and those belonging to the judicial branch. The second is made up of all those free citizens who are not part of any of the three previous ones. In addition to this difference, there is also the fact that the first ones are initiated in the art of Necroengineering, which consists in the combination of necrotic energy with parts or pieces of corpses. The hierarchy within the Uhla-Bau Church is also pyramidal. At the base are the Mabukku who belong to both sexes. After initiation they are divided, the female Mabukku become part of the Serune Gur and the males become Araggales. The former are divided in two branches, those in charge of rituals and ceremonies, the Sinnirhat and those which are specialised in curses, the Ezeirhat. The supreme leader of each branch is called Alkhu. The Araggal are divided into three groups. Those who study the sacred scriptures or Muduahu, those specialized in medicine or reconstructive surgery using cadaver parts, the Salammahu and those in charge of the creation and development of technology, the Ummarahu. Each of these branches has a leader who receives the title of Araggal. The military branch is also divided into three strata. First are the Inahazi Qittra. They specialise in mid-range combat as their Tukul or soul dagger is designed to be projected like a throwing knife and return to its owner's control to prepare for the next attack. Second are the Itsaya Qauhda or death dancers. These brave warriors have earned this nickname because their Tukul orbits around them and as they move around the battlefield, their weapon follows their harmonious movements cutting, stabbing and piercing the bodies of their enemies. In third place are the strategists in charge of military intelligence and battle formations or Meladruh Sihmmuh. Although unlike the previous two, they do not use necro-engineering for their arts, their cunning and intellect make them a key piece at the moment of a warlike conflict, since force without direction has no power. Regardless of which branch of the army they belong to, all low-ranking military personnel receive the name of Edum. The judicial branch is divided into Dayanu or low magister, who are in charge of solving judicial problems at the local level and the Dayyani or High Magister. The latter are the ones who solve those problems between citadels that do not require the intervention of their maximum leader. Sometimes they can intervene in political conflicts between neighbouring races, in the form of mediators. Although among the Ux-Uhl the slave market is quite promoted, these are used for ritual purposes on sacrifices only and for that reason is that enslaving another Ux-Uhl is forbidden by Uhla-Bau. In spite of this, when a citizen falls in disgrace and for some circumstance loses his quality of citizen he becomes a non-people or Nardum. The relatives of Ux-Uhl who commit suicide fall into this category among others.
