Physically, Ux-Uhl are long and slender figures. While they are not very strong, they make up for it with their understanding of necroengineering and with their high agility which they use on the battlefield. This agility comes from their inverted double-jointed lower limbs as well as the arrangement of their toes. On their hands they have 3 long fingers which harmonise with the extension of their arms. In addition to these details there are clear differences between males and females. Males have 7 eyes while females have 5. The eye colour of both is red but depending on the intensity of light it turns purple in the case of males and lime green in the case of females. The skin of females is reddish green while that of males is petrol blue.
The garments of the Ux-Uhl are tunics whose colour is associated with their work and rank. The Mabuku wear black as a distinctive colour. When they become Serune-Gur, their robes become wine-coloured, while the Araggales wear steel blue robes. In the case of the Dayanu and the Dayyani their robes are red in colour, the only difference being the symbol they wear as a badge. In the case of the military, the tunic is replaced by an armour made of a material called Kesen which is a type of steel created by subjecting bones to a high concentration of necrotic energy. The armour of the Inahazi Qittra is golden in colour, the armour of the Itsaya Qauhda is vermilion in colour and the armour of the Meladruh Sihmmuh is steel in colour.
Those belonging to the low caste wear brown tunics in standard form and the Nardums wear brown chariots.
